After two packed shows last year, this new show includes a tournament for a brand new championship.

The inaugural NC women's wrestling tournament is here. The official championship selections were released in a selection show on NCAA.com on Friday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. ET. The championships will take place from March 6-7 at Xtream Arena in Coralville, IA.

Women’s wrestling has been on up recently, in both Wisconsin and the world. The NCAA announced the addition of a women’s wrestling national championship in July, fueled by public support and the rising level of talent in girls youth wrestling.
