Atlanta Dream Guard Rhyne Howard placed third in this weekend’s WNBA All-Star 3-point contest, taking home a $15,000 prize provided by Columbus-based sponsor Aflac. Aflac officials say the payout is part of a larger investment in the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) to increase supplemental prize awards during All-Star Weekend.

Sophie Cunningham is open to participating in the All-Star 3-point contest in Chicago this week, but that decision isn't up to her.

The WNBA 3-Point Contest won't feature Fever All-Star Caitlin Clark or last year's winner, the Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu.
