With Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arriving in India on a two-day visit after over three years, all eyes will be on the 24th round of the Special Representatives' (SR) talks on Tuesday.

Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar began talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in New Delhi on Monday and stressed that there could be positive momentum in ties between the neighbours only if there was peace on their border.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also held bilateral talks with Wang on Monday evening. In his opening remarks, Jaishankar welcomed his Chinese counterpart and his delegation for the 24th round of talks between the Special Representatives of India and China.
