Amazon released the first episode of its excellent video game adaptation a day early this week. The new release schedule means we get an episode per week rather than the entire batch all at once like Season 1. This means we get to talk about the show for the next eight weeks, which I think is a lot more fun than a binge.

Endgadet says Fallout Season 2 "continues to be a prime example of how to make the jump from pixels to TV screens look good," with reviewer Sam Rutherford saying, "After seeing The Last of Us stumble a bit during its second tour, I might even go so far as to say that Fallout is the best live-action video game crossover to date."

Last Sunday, Dec. 14, marked the epic conclusion of HBO's " IT: Welcome to Derry ," a prequel that explored Pennywise's origins. Set in the 1960s, the horror-drama showed the evil villain terrorizing the residents of Derry, Maine. With the season coming to an end, many fans are begging for the next installment.

Since its premiere, Fallout has since become Prime Video's second most-watched series ever, pulling in 65 million viewers within its first 16 days.

The Prime Video series was originally supposed to return on Wednesday, Dec. 17, but season 2 will now premiere Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET. After the first episode airs, “Fallout” will return to its previously scheduled Wednesday premieres for the remainder of the season.
