Jackson Merrill capped off his rookie season by winning a Silver Slugger Award, putting the Padres outfielder in the company of Ichiro Suzuki and Aaron Judge.

Three Padres on Tuesday were named NL Silver Slugger Award-winners: third baseman Manny Machado, left fielder Jurickson Profar and center fielder Jackson Merrill. Profar and Merrill already represented the Padres in the All-Star Game and Merrill is one of three finalists for NL Rookie of the Year.
