Antony scores on his European debut for Real Betis as they put themselves in a commanding position to reach the last 16 of the Europa Conference League with victory over Gent.

Real Betis CEO Ramón Alarcón has opened the door to extending Antony's loan spell at the club beyond the summer.

Antony left Manchester United in January having scored just one goal all season, and just four in 18 months. However, his loan spell with Real Betis has gotten off to a flier, and he's scored another goal, this time away to Gent in the Europa Conference League.

Real Betis have opened the door to signing Manchester United flop Antony on a permanent transfer. The Brazilian winger joined Betis on loan until the end of the season in January. Antony is considered one of the biggest transfer flops in history, having struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford since his £82m move from Ajax in 2022.

Antony has enjoyed rejuvenated form since leaving Manchester United for Real Betis, where he helped them defeat Gent in the UEFA Conference League.
