Cincinnati led 4-1 in the bottom of the seventh, but the Angels rallied to tie the game 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth. The Reds then scored two runs in the top of the ninth to get the win and the victory in the series.

The Cincinnati Reds earned their 10th consecutive victory over the Los Angeles Angels, going back to 2019, with a 6-4 victory.

Hunter Greene had 12 strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings, Noelvi Marte homered, doubled and drove in two runs, and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Los Angeles Angels 6-4.

The Cincinnati Reds designated Jake Fraley for assignment on Aug. 17 and the Braves claimed him off waivers on Aug. 19.
