Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, a 2022 Merrillville graduate, was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night.

The Miami Dolphins added some beef on defense in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft by selecting Michigan nose tackle Kenneth Grant with the No. 13 overall selection. It wasn't much of a surprise that the Dolphins wanted to address their defensive line early after losing Calais Campbell and Da'Shawn Hand in free agency.
