WASHINGTON — Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned former girlfriend of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, is open to answering questions from Congress — but only if she is granted immunity from future prosecution for her testimony, her lawyers said Tuesday.

The Justice Department wants to interview Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of helping the New York financier sexually abuse underage girls and is in prison.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney renewed his request that the Supreme Court overturn her 2021 conviction in New York for recruiting and grooming multiple teenage girls for Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse for over a decade.
