Harry Kane's fitness is dominating the buildup to Bayern Munich's tricky game against third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. The England captain went off at halftime with a calf problem on Tuesday in the second leg of Bayern's 3-2 aggregate win over Celtic in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich progressed to the next round of the Champions League on Tuesday night thanks to a draw against Celtic, but star striker Harry Kane may have suffered an injury in the process. Vincent Kompany took off the English striker at half-time due to some discomfort.

Bild reports that Kane will now be monitored day to day for the rest of the week and at the moment he is a doubt for their game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday afternoon. Due to Kane’s early substitution, the 31-year-old was able to avoid a major injury.
