Jasmine Paolini just pulled off another one of those matches that makes you wonder if she’s secretly part machine, part tennis wizard. The Italian powerhouse clawed her way past Veronika Kudermetova in a Cincinnati Open semi-final that had more ups and downs than a roller coaster designed by someone with serious commitment issues.

Iga Swiatek continued her strong summer by defeating Elena Rybakina 7-5, 6-3 on Sunday to reach the final of the Cincinnati Open, where she will face Jasmine Paolini, a 6-3, 6-7 (2), 6-3 winner against Veronika Kudermetova.

The Cincinnati Open women's final will feature two WTA Top 10 seeds after Iga Swiatek and Jasmine Paolini advanced Aug. 17.
